Welcome to

The Dad School

At The Dad School, we’re redefining what it means to be a father in today’s world. As part of a new generation of dads, we believe it’s time to show up, do the work, and truly enjoy the process of fatherhood.

Here’s the reality: We expect a lot from ourselves and a lot is expected of us. Yet, when it comes to the support we need as dads, it’s shockingly lacking.

We think that needs changing. That’s why The Dad School exists—to provide the guidance, community, and tools every dad deserves through a series of online parenting classes designed just for dads.

Whether you’re a first-time dad, a single dad, or a dad navigating the ins and outs of seeing your kids grow up, our small-group online courses (capped at six dads per class and led by experts) offer practical strategies, real support, and a space to connect with others handling the same challenges.

Our Core Beliefs

The Dad School is built on four core beliefs that drive everything we do:

One: Fathers Matter

Research confirms it: The role of “father” is crucial to the well-being of children, families, and communities. It may not always feel like dads matter, but how men approach and engage with their children has lasting consequences on their development. We’re here to empower dads to take on this role with confidence, purpose, and skill.

Two: Becoming a Father is a Knowable Process

Fatherhood doesn’t have to be a guessing game—but it’s definitely something that we don’t necessarily come hardwired to excel at. With the right knowledge and preparation, you can step into every chapter of life ready to thrive.

Three: Every Stage Requires New Tools & Skills

Becoming a dad is a huge life shift requiring that you adapt to changing circumstances and learn new ways of thinking, acting, and relating. We teach you the practical tools and mindset shifts that will set you up for success.

Four: Anyone Can Learn These Tools and Skills

You don’t need to be a genius, you don’t need prior experience with kids, and you don’t need some fancy degree to be a rockstar dad. When pressed, most fathers will admit that they had no clue what was going on at first. It doesn’t have to stay that way. The opportunity to be a good dad is available to all of us.

Why Join The Dad School?

Research shows that dads thrive when they learn from others and connect with a supportive community—and yet, spaces for dads to do that are rare. That's why we created this school—to provide a place where fathers at all stages can learn, share experiences, and gain the confidence they need to navigate all the different chapters of life with kids.

If you're ready to get the support, guidance, and tools to be the dad you want to be, you're in the right place.

Real Expertise,
Targeted Instruction

Dr. David Kyle Bond seated on a sofa

Our team of course instructors is led by Dr. David Kyle Bond, a licensed psychologist who specializes in helping men, teens, and boys navigate life’s challenges. Kyle has spent the last decade and a half working with families, teaching courses on family life and parent-child bonds and studying what it means to step into fatherhood.

When he became a dad, Kyle realized there weren’t many resources for new fathers navigating fatherhood for the first time—and what was out there seemed too basic for the kind of guy who commits to excellence in other areas of life and wants to continue in that spirit when it comes to being a dad.

So: The Dad School was born to provide a supportive community and practical tools that empower dads to embrace their new roles with confidence and joy.

Mission:
We empower dads to show up present, prepared, and proud, whether they’re calming a crying baby for the first time or negotiating curfew with a junior in high school. Our small-group model keeps classes intimate, ensuring every voice is heard and every question answered.
